Kala Russell will be joining us from Communal Brands where they have a some great ideas about the wines they carry:
All of their wines are sustainable, low intervention (unmanipulated), small production wineries.
By and large, they are affordable wines, meant for drinking now, to share.
They are developing new ways to share great wine by simultaneously reducing waste and increasing enjoyment.
They have been leader in packaging really great wine in bottles, boxes, or bags that reduce waste and get more good quality wine to the customer at a better price.
I love this. At The Coffee Grounds we have always tried to work with wineries that are small. Wineries where you can meet one or two humble people and feel like you know the whole company and what they are about. We selected a wide range of wines for this tasting, so we will get an international dinner and wine tasting with Kala Russel. I look forward to starting the season with you all and Kala!
