Alec Bradley Family Blend
Originally a single-sized release, the Alec Bradley Family Blend was a 5 1/2 by 50 cigar simply called the Family Blend. It was created in honor of brand-owner Alan Rubin’s father, as well as the fathers of his two key associates in the business. Family Blend became a popular cigar and even garnered the No. 16 spot in Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars of 2009. The brand has now been extended to five sizes, and then original single size now has a more specific name (VR1). Each cigar name carries some sort of familial significance to either Alan Rubin or his associates at Alec Bradley. Sentiment aside, this was an impressive tasting with the T11, a torpedo, earning 94 points. Average Rating: 91.2 points.
Available in 3 sizes priced from $6.39 - $7.19.

Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream
Salty Caramel. Riesling Poached Pear Sorbet. Honey Vanilla Bean. Meyer Lemon Yogurt. BrambleBerry Crisp. Goat Cheese with Cognac Fig Sauce. These are some of Jeni's "splendid" ice cream flavors we have, but we change them often as Jeni's adds seasonal and new fun flavors. Made in Columbus, Ohio, Jeni's is family owned and operated (like us!) and creates these artisan ice creams in small batches that are "less sweet and more flavorful". We are thrilled to offer them to you. They are truly splendid and it is the best and finest ice cream we have ever had. You're just going to have to trust us on this one!! P.S. This is not ice cream for the kids!!!

In the Cheese Case
There are so many great cheeses available and we are continually changing our selection and putting new and interesting cheeses in our case. Whether it is a handmade, small farmstead cheese or a triple creme imported from France, we have something for everyone's taste. Amanda is our go-to person for cheese, so if you have any questions, please ask for her.
Castelinhos is a pasteurized cow’s milk cheese produced in the Terceira Island in Azores, Archipelago. It is named after the castle of the medieval town of Fiera. Castelinhos is a cheese of delicate, mild flavor though the exterior has been brine-washed during the 30 day aging. On the palate, it is creamy and pleasant. The Castelinhos profile is not unlike the similar flavor profile of Port Salut. Its versatility and delicate flavor allows for a myriad of serving possibilities from brunch to lunch to munching. It is perfect on a sandwich, cheese board, or as a dessert course.
If you want something from Wisconsin, try Ostenborg Horseradish & Chive Havarti made in Monroe, Wisconsin. Using traditional cheesemaking methods, the freshest milk from local family farms and premium quality ingredients results in an award-winning creamy havarti. Try it on a grilled burger this summer.
Saint Angel is a French triple cream cheese with a gorgeous and decadent velvety smoothness; it's like eating a cheese made from cured butter! You can pair this cheese with strawberries and sparkling wine.
Meadowkaas is a gouda that's only available three months out of the year in springtime when the Dutch cows wander out of their winter barns to happily graze on the green grasses of Northern Holland. The fresh milk is high in cream content - over 50%. Aged only four months, it's stunningly delicious, mild, creamy, and nutty.
Bonvallis Pan de Higo (Fig and Almond Cake) is made with highly selected Spanish figs, almonds, and wild spices of Spain's Mediterranean region. Slice into thin pieces and top with thin slices of Manchego, Pecorino Toscano, Dante or Mona sheep's milk cheeses. My brother and sister-in-law introduced us to this perfect combination a few years ago and we are sure you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Experience the Enomatic at The Coffee Grounds
People who love wine also love to discover new wines. Without the ability to taste a wine, you are often limited to selecting a wine solely based on a label, price, or review. That is why we at The Coffee Grounds believe that in addition to our knowledge of wine, the pleasure of tasting can lead to the right choice.
In this spirit, we are introducing a state-of-the-art Italian designed and manufactured Wine Serving System - the Enomatic. You will be able to taste a wine before purchasing the bottle or you can enjoy a glass of wine with your sandwich or after work with friends. At the press of a button, you will be able to serve the wine of your choice from 12 ever-changing varieties. Choose from 3 size pours - a 1 oz. sample, a 3 oz. taste, or a 5 oz. glass of wine. Join in the fun and excitement at The Coffee Grounds with the Enomatic. Salut!

How do you know it's pure honey if you don't know the beekeeper?
We are proud to carry this wildflower honey from Carmody Family Apiary in Eau Claire. Reports show it is beneficial to buy locally grown honey as it contains the immune stimulating properties needed for your body to adapt to its environment. Of course, it's always good to support local farmers, too. Use it in your tea, marinades, and baked goods.
